The aforementioned USB Cell AA Batteries have now made it across the pond. Now the USBCell AA batteries can be purchased at Think Geek for $20 for a pair. The folks at Moxia are still working on other battery sizes including AAA and 9V, but still don’t have any for sale as of yet. C and D size converters are also being worked on to allow for the AA batteries to serve for those sizes. Also if you can trust an April 1 press release (Engadget Referer, Gizmodo Referer), USBCell batteries are going to be released in pastel colors: white, yellow blue, pink and green. |
