When I see a USB product like this, I often wonder what some of the conversations leading up to it reaching the market are like. I envision the pitch for this cup had to be something like: “lets meld a powered USB hub onto a cup, charge about $20 for it and see if people will buy it” with various two thumbs up gestures ensuing. I mean I do have writing implement holders at both home and work and do have one powered USB hub, but I assure you the sum total of all of these items was under $20 and didn’t require me to plug my USB devices in vertically behind the pens and pencils I might want to use.
