This link is a direct result of a conversation my housemate and I had about a week ago. I cannot remember the context any more, though I imagine one of the cats had just done something the I wasn’t happy about, but I mentioned something about bear rugs or the feline equivalent. Like a good computer technician with no insite to add to the conversation, my housemate immediately started Googling. This is what he found. I must say that I really don’t know what to think about these cat skins, though it does comfort me somewhat that they were found as roadkill. More surprising is the taxidermist the skinned these cats is a twenty year old named Amy. Not only is she a fully certified taxidermist, but she managed to kill a deer with a bow and arrow. I don’t have the skill nor the patience to do that with a firearm, much less a bow. |
I continually threaten to turn our cats into slippers. The problem is, they never cause trouble in pairs, so I’d always be stuck with one bare foot.
