Paddy Chair

Filed under: Links, Other Furnishings — roclar @ 7:55 am
Paddy Chair The Paddy Chair brings the comfort of a padded cell to your living room. The chair was designed by Nick Melville for a group exhibition entitled “Dark Design” for DesignersBlock London 2005. The chair is made from medium density fiber-wood (MDF) and pine panels with solid pine legs, polyurethane foam and wadding, and cotton canvas upholstery. No measurements were provided, but from one of the pictures and the description it can seat two people. Since the Paddy Chair was designed as a “one-off project”, it isn’t readily available, though it can be made to order via Nick Melville’s site.
