The whole goal for Spikey is to prevent drinks from being spiked at pubs, bars and parties. This neon colored plastic “use once only” stopper glows in UV light to let everybody know that the beverage it is protecting is tamper proof. There is only room in Spikey for a straw to be inserted through the top. Apparently Spikey has started catching on in the UK, as a number of nightclubs have started carrying the brightly colored plastic stopper. Spikey can be purchased over the internets in .uk from Barmans in a pack of 10 for $2 or ten packs of ten for $15. |
