Pictured to the left is the R.M. Johnson E-Z Crusher which has a twenty foot mouth for flattening cars, trucks and buses with its fifty tons of crushing power. This image and a short and woefully soundless video are included in a Popular Mechanics article entitled “Where Your Car Goes to Die.” According to the article, automobiles are the most recycled consumer product in the world with 95% of all vehicles are reclaimed though as much as 25% of each car still ends up in the landfill. |
