National Library of Belarus

Filed under: Light & Illuminated Objects, Links — roclar @ 6:00 pm
National Library of Belarus The National Library of Belarus is a curious looking structure that was just completed in 2006. The main component of the structure is in the shape of a rhombicuboctahedron which has 18 square faces and 8 triangular faces. The gallery linked below has some nice pictures of this interesting looking structure. Most importantly to me is that according to the LEDs Magazine article the library is illuminated by 4646 color-changing RGB LED fixtures.
