I discussed the value of decanters when I linked to the Metrokane V1 Vacuum Decanter back in May. So I figured I would follow up with this duck decanter when it showed up in the feeds because it seemed kind of off beat and humorous. Little did I know how popular duck decanters were as I found four other ones on the first page of a Google search: here, here, here, and here. So much for originality, but whatever. You know, I never really considered that aspect I wonder if any of the 50 different folks that have various animal decanters ever considered it either. I think I am more put out by spending $60 on a glass and metal duck that serves a purpose I do not believe I even need long before any other aspect comes into play.
