The LED flashlight that is standard duty for the LAPD is now available for public purchase. The Pelican 7060 weighs 10 oz., has two switches which can both independently turn the flash light on and off, and a host of other nifty features aside from being pretty darn bright. The Pelican 7060 retails for $200, but you can buy it for less “on the streets” including for $140 from Pelican-Case.com or for $128 from BrightGuy.com. Of course there are many other providers of LED flashlights such as Sure Fire and Stream Light that have more variety. |
