Bioshock Soundtrack

Filed under: Games & Related Links, Links, Music, Sound & Speakers — roclar @ 6:00 pm
Bioshock logo During the months when the majority of trees have leaves, my Sirius Satellite Radio service is spotty at best for the duration of my lengthy five to ten minute commute. So over the course of these months I usually listen to various CD mixes that I change out ever few weeks. When I was cleaning out my Google Reader starred items, I found this Bioshock Music List from Major Nelson which lists the songs used as ambiant music in the game and decided to make a CD of songs from the ambient songs list with the Bioshock orchestral score interspersed. The end result feels sort of like playing game, a song or two from the 30s to 50s followed by a relatively jarring orchestral piece albeit without the gun play and splicer attacks. In order to get the score just do a search for “BIOSHOCK ORCHESTRAL SCORE” in the Cult of Rapture Articles to find the link to download the score.
