I dislike that she’s portrayed as moderate when the truth is she’s just not as far to the extreme Right as the others. Same with Souter. They’re not liberal by any means. And they’re really not that moderate. They’re just not way, way to the Right, like Scalia and dead Reinquist.

I’m also a little dismayed that she’s been criticizing the recent power grabs by the Executive Branch, when she had a hand in putting them in power.

Given my pedestrian knowledge of the law (re: enough to hopefully keep me out of trouble and thats about it), I don’t feel that I can comment much either way on her opinions on the bench. At least nobody on campus felt the need to protest her being on campus like our past chancellor.
