Besides how dark the turf is, the field is "painted" much the same.  While image hunting, I found a couple of &lt;a href="http://www.williamsburgpostcards.com/wmc/wmc16.htm" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow"&gt;Williamsburg Postcard&lt;/a&gt; images of the field from &lt;a href="http://roclar.net/RP/ZableStadium1936.jpg" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow"&gt;1936&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://roclar.net/RP/ZableStadium200x.jpg" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow"&gt;early 2000&lt;/a&gt;.  I kind of like the traditional no frills grid-iron look they maintained without all the clutter some other I-A and pro fields have, though I wouldn't have minded feather flags flying all around the top of the stadium.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That would be an interesting business venture, Tommy.  There are a good number of season ticket holders that wear head bands with green and yellow feathers or have them somewhere on their person at the games.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/table&gt;</description>
