10 Years of Apple.com

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine is a fun little tool (you can even check out this site before I setup Wordpress). The problem with the internet archive is it doesn’t always have the images that go with the site as is the case with apple.com, which takes a lot away from the look. The Apple Gazette recently posted six screenshots of the Apple front page from 1996 to today highlighting the changes to the site posing the question: “is it time for apple.com to be redesigned?” The site is working so I am not sure why the would want to do more then tweaking it here or there. Still its cool to remember how the site has evolved. |
