SwitchEasy RunAway

Filed under: Apple Stuff, Links, Sports & Related Gear — roclar @ 8:00 am
Switch Easys Run Away When Apple announced the Nike + iPod product, I thought it was a neat idea but that it was a little odd to be inserting a chip into the heal of a Nike shoe. Plus, all of the Nike+ shoes are rather expensive ranging from $85 to $130. Enter the RunAway which hooks to the laces of any shoe while holding the iPod Sport Kit sensor. The Run away allows for more convenient access to the sensor which makes turning it off to conserve battery power easier and also contains a convenient method of storing the iPod receiver when not in use. The RunAway AnyShoe adapter will be available mid-November in six colors: white, black, red, orange, pastel blue and pink for $8.

  1. That’s odd, I thought the stock Nike+ device had the ability to attach to laces by default. I think Fishsprout has one, I’ll ask her today.
