One of these days I will get around to buying a Skype handset and stop annoying all three of you with them. But since this glorious day hasn’t hapened yet, I give you the Philips VOIP 321. Woefully Windows XP/2000 are the only supported operating systems, the base of this handset connects to the computer via USB. This handset appears to carry over most of the basic Skype functionality while being powered by two NiMH AAA batteries which allow for ten hours of talk time. The Philips VOIP 321 is available from J&R Music and Computer World on Amazon for $80. |
