I got tired of using the date command to keep track of how long my tea had been brewing and decided to look for web based timer solutions. The Mothership directed me to a javascript timer on James A. White’s site that was available for download. Score! I converted the javascript and html code into my preferred XHTML 1.0 Strict and changed the digits from the orignal thick black to a green digital font. If you have timer needs and are in front of a computer feel free to call this up. |

Nice. I may substitute nixie tube digits.

If I weren’t such a javascript newb, I’d set it up to allow for different digits. Nixies’s would be most sweet.

I’ll see what I can do. I have some nixie tube images from a clock widget I whipped up once.
At work, I use an old Palm Tungsten T3 as a tea timer. The digitizer is too out of whack to use it as a PDA. But there’s a nice little tea timer program available, with a big enough button that it works fine, despite the flaky digitizer. It’s a $300 tea timer!
